Francis Ahiakpa

Chief Executive Officer

Francis was appointed the Chief Executive Officer in July 2017. Before then, he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 to June 2017. He started working at the Humber All Nations Alliance as a Community Development Worker on the Delivery Race Equality Project. For six years he had a dual role as Finance Officer and Project Coordinator for the Delivery Race Equality representing Black Minority Ethnic Groups (BME) around the City of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. Before joining Humber All Nations Alliance, he worked at the Haven Project as the Community Integration Worker. He is an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Affiliate Person and holds an Masters in Business Administration (Finance Option) from the University of Hull and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana in Economics and Statistics

Francis has the vision that the organisation will have a solid foundation in the communities that they serve and build the capacity of its membership so that they can stand and develop on their own after the needed support from his team here.

Francis is a Director at the Environmental Management Systems and Humber Community Advice Service as well as a member of the Ghanaian Association of Hull and East Riding

Julie Rodrigues

Community Engagement Worker

Julie is originally from Hull but spent most of her early career in various other parts of the UK and Europe before settling in Paull with her two sons in 2006.

She has worked in many roles predominantly within the early years sector supporting young children and their families and has carried this experience into her role with Hana as a Community Engagement Worker.
Julie has a keen interest in disability rights and is also a qualified Adult Tutor.

Brigitta Laszlo

 Volunteer

Brigitta came from Hungary more than 12 years ago and she presently works as the Eastern European Champion/Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Humber All Nations Alliance.

Brigitta is a community development worker with a focus on migrant and Eastern European Communities and a long experience in organising community events with a special focus on multicultural festivals, and various social gatherings for members of the diverse ethnic communities.

She also represents the diverse ethnic communities in local forums, boards, and panels advocating on their behalf to ensure that their aspirations and interests are taken into account.

Brigitta also the chairperson of the local Hungarian Community Group

Brigitta speaks Hungarian and English.

Raimonda Kirtiklyte

Raimonda came to UK from Lithuania in 2012 and joined HANA family in 2016 as an intern. She has learnt a lot through this time. Before joining HANA full-time, she worked as a community development worker.  Here at HANA she supports people from different ethnic groups with various issues and problems. Raimonda also coordinates volunteers and students. Her professional speciality is in psychology science.

 

Raimonda is now an independent consultant who works with HANA in her own right.

Godwin Kwame Agble

Volunteer

 

Godwin Kwame Agble came to , HULL about two months ago, currently with HANA as a Volunteer. Godwin is a registered general nurse study at Ho Nurses Training College, Ghana.

Website and Media Relations

Chris mostly deals with the website and writing the newsletter, so please blame him for everything that is wrong with it. He moved to Hull in 2011, and has lived on 4 1/2 continents and in 6 different countries before ending up in East Yorkshire.
