Learning Disability Community Support with Ripon Community Link – A dynamic community-based support service for people with learning difficulties, “enabling people to achieve their life goals”

Location: Ripon Walled Garden)

Part-time, 25 hours a week over 5 days.

Salary: £15,507 – £16,191 per annum pro rata, NJC Scale 11-13.

This is a key role in a dynamic team, a unique and varied setting, and a local resource open to the public. You will be at the heart of the Ripon Walled Garden Team, offering a front-line service of customer service and reception, care and support to people with learning difficulties and foundational support operations in administration, marketing and finance.

They are seeking someone with a warm and welcoming personality; patient, flexible and organised; able to show initiative and be a team player; with an interest in horticulture and hospitality and with skills in I.T.

Ripon Community Link provides a day time support service for people with learning difficulties, offering a wide range of community-based activities and opportunities. Their aims are to maximise independence, health, well-being, skills and fulfilment for members.

They are based across three sites: Ripon Walled Garden and two sites close to the centre of Ripon.
Ripon Walled Garden is the garden nursery with shop, café and garden maintenance business.
