Healthwatch is the new consumer champion for local health and social care services. It will take the experiences that people have of local care and use them to help shape local services, leading to the outcome of improved delivery and commissioning of health and social care services across these two areas.
Healthwatch is currently recruiting the following roles for this exciting opportunity:
Healthwatch Patient & Services Analyst
Salary – £25,000 per annum
Start date: Asap
Working closely with the Delivery Managers and Boards of Directors, your role will be to ensure the implementation and delivery of an effective research and reporting function across the two Healthwatch organisations.
The Patient & Service Analyst will lead on the collection of patient experience, along with the identification of other intelligence and data gained from a wide range of sources.
The aim will be to develop an effective structure of research and analysis to ensure that patient experience trends, gaps in service and areas of good practice can be identified, ensuring that the two Healthwatch organisations are the consumer champion for their respective areas.
The post holder will need to have a good understanding of the local health care arena, and also possess excellent data collection, analysis and reporting skills as the research gathered will be formulated in to reports with recommendations for formal submission to health and social care providers.
Healthwatch Volunteer Coordinator
Salary – £18,000 – £20,000 per annum
Start date: Asap
Working closely with the Delivery Managers, your role will be to effectively manage and coordinate all volunteer activity across the two organisations.
Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of Healthwatch, with roles ranging from community promoter to Board Director.
The Volunteer Coordinator will responsible for the ongoing promotion and recruitment of all volunteer roles, and will ensure that volunteering policies and procedures are implemented and kept up to date.
With the Support of the Delivery Manager, the post holder will manage and direct the tasks of volunteers, as well as coordinate Enter and View activity, which is one of the statutory powers of Healthwatch. The post holder will also be responsible for providing support at Board meetings.
