Salary: £7.50 per hour
1 year fixed term contract – may be extended subject to funding
Consideration will be given to combining the roles to form a 12 hour contract
The Goodwin Youth Team is looking for enthusiastic, committed and flexible individuals to join the team. You will be engaging with and supporting young people through leading and supporting activities and sessions within Goodwin’s youth provision, through detached and outreach work. You will be mainly working in the Riverside and West area. Provision will include evening and weekend sessions.
The role also includes working with other agencies and organisations including local primary and secondary schools. It is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role, working with difficult, disadvantaged and disengaged young people. You should possess good inter-personal, negotiation, communication and prioritising skills along with the ability to work well under pressure.
