Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is a vibrant, forward looking organisation, covering the areas of Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire. It is a leading, local charity working to influence and deliver responsive services to support people with mental health problems to live fulfilling and independent lives.
HEY Mind has an experienced, talented and motivated team of staff and volunteers and a dedicated Board of Trustees who, together, have built a credible and trusted organisation, with an ambitious strategic plan. The vision is a simple one: we won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
It is essential that candidates understand mental health care and support systems and have worked at CEO or director level in a similar sized or larger organisation.
The successful candidate should also:

This is an exciting time to join the charity. The profile of mental health and wellbeing has never been higher, so more people feel able to ask for help. There is a growing recognition that early intervention is key to preventing the development of mental health problems, and that people can, and do, recover from mental health problems.
