Chief Officer, Age UK North Craven

Age UK North Craven is a local charity working to make later life in North Craven a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, reducing isolation and loneliness, and providing the right support at the right time for older people.

They are looking for an innovative, strategic and inspirational Chief Officer.

£28,000 – £30,000 (negotiable) per annum – based in Settle, North Yorkshire

They are looking for an engaging leader who is able to provide forward vision to the organisation, its trustees, staff and volunteers, influencing stakeholders, delivering results for older people and inspiring others.

Passionate about ensuring that older people are placed at the heart of the charity, you will advise and guide the trustees and implement their decisions, whilst managing the organisation and its resources to ensure we deliver high quality services.

You will raise their profile and address the issues affecting older people in order to influence policy-making and respond to needs in Craven, North Yorkshire and beyond.
To be successful you will demonstrate your experience of managing development, possess the ability to generate sustainable income streams, and demonstrate knowledge and awareness of social policy issues affecting older people.
