IT Support Officer x2

IT User Support Officer x 2

1 permanent  – Post No. SS049

1 temporary – Post No. SS051

Grade 5 – £16,604 – £17,333 (37 hours week)

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service are looking to appoint 2 experienced IT User Support Officers (1 permanent and 1 temporary for up to six months) to complete our team.  The temporary post will be primarily based on the South Bank (working from Grimsby or Scunthorpe) and the permanent post will work mainly on the North Bank from Service Headquarters in Hessle.

You will provide IT user support of the highest standard across all aspects of our IT infrastructure which includes hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, tablets and mobile phones) and software (Microsoft and Fire Service specific).

Knowledgeable and helpful, enthusiastic and outgoing, you should have proven IT experience; an ITIL background/qualification would be a bonus.  As good with people as you are technical, you pride yourself on delivering first-class customer care.  It is also important that you are confident in managing your own workload and have a calm, collected work approach, even when things get busy.

Application forms and further details can be downloaded from our website at http://www.humbersidefire.gov.uk/careers/vacancies/it-user-support-officer1 or by telephoning the HR Team on (01482) 567133.

Another session with Children and Young people from our communities learning how to grow what they eat. It was wonderful to see them eager and willing to participate in the sessions, thanks to the staff and volunteers at PATT Foundation. pic.twitter.com/ERapjFlxs5

We want to say a big thank you to Richard Masan from Humberside Fire and Rescue Services for your donations towards our breakfast Club. We are very grateful. It will go a long way to provide for the many that we serve every Thursday morning.
