Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are currently recruiting for two positions, a part-time Volunteer Co-ordinator and fulltime Wellbeing Worker.
Volunteer Co-ordinator
22.5 hours per week
£18,689 – £20,739 pa (pro rata) dependent on qualifications and experience
12 month fixed term contract with potential to extend
The responsibility of this post is to organise the provision of volunteer and student placements for clients and services. You will undertake rigorous recruitment and selection of volunteers and students and provide them with training and ongoing support. You will be expected to evaluate the effectiveness of the service, supervise staff and provide monitoring reports. NVQ level 3/A level(s) in a relevant discipline, a similar qualification or proven experience is essential.
Wellbeing Worker
37 hours per week
£16,721 – £19,687 pa dependent on qualifications and experience
The purpose of this post is to support adults with a range of mental health difficulties in community and housing related settings. The post holder will be expected to manage a client caseload, facilitate groups and deliver workshops and courses. Successful applicants should be able to work across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. NVQ/BTEC level 2 in a relevant discipline, a similar qualification or relevant experience is essential.
Both of these posts are based in Hull. Access to own transport is essential and all posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
