Job Vacancies at Wyke College

1. Catering Assistant
Wyke is an oversubscribed, highly successful Sixth Form College with an
outstanding reputation.
We seek an enthusiastic reliable individual to join this friendly team in providing
a high quality catering service to our students and staff. The role involves serving
breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as occasional evening work for events.
Experience in catering and/or operating tills would be an advantage.
The College is committed to safeguarding and offers of employment are subject
to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
Permanent, SFCA Scale point 10: £13,891 pro rata
12 -16 hrs/week, term time only

2. Minibus Drivers
Casual (to cover trips, sports & absences)
SFCA Support Scale 15: £15,625 pro rata
Wyke is an oversubscribed, highly successful Sixth Form
College with an outstanding reputation in the locality. We
teach mainly 16-18 year old students from Hull, the East
Riding and further afield.
The Minibus Drivers form a small team essential to the
smooth running of the College transport system. Drivers
collect students to ensure they arrive before 9a.m.and take
them home at 4.10pm. Destinations include Goole,
Withernsea & the Scunthorpe area. Regular trips and visits
are also taken out as well as sports fixtures.
Candidates should hold a full driving licence with a D1
entitlement. Experience of driving minibuses and/or
working with young people is desirable.
The College is committed to safeguarding and offers of

Barring Service clearance.
