Job Vacancy – Cloverleaf Advocacy Finance Director

Deadline 13th April

(£33,000 – £35,000 per annum, fte)

Cloverleaf Advocacy is a highly successful charity providing independent advocacy to vulnerable adults, across the North of England. Following a period of rapid growth, this post presents an exciting opportunity to join a senior management team

They are looking for an ambitious and high-performing Finance Director who will confidently oversee our financial management systems and lead a small team whose work underpins all of Cloverleaf’s activity to provide outstanding independent advocacy services.
Located in Dewsbury’s Head Office you will also lead your team to offer first class financial support and advice across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will take overall responsibility for the financial operations of the organisation, providing strategic and operational direction and management of Cloverleaf’s finance functions. You will have the skills required to work to tight deadlines, have excellent communication skills, be detailed orientated with a positive and professional outlook.
You will also ensure that the organisation is prepared to deal with the challenges of providing effective and efficient financial management systems and policies (including payroll) that maximise the Charity’s resources to enable the organisation to operate in line with its charitable objectives.
The ideal candidate will already hold a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or be qualified by exceptional experience who can demonstrate a record of achievement at a senior level in a charitable, social enterprise, CIC or public sector organisation.

The role is suited to a motivated self-starter who has experience of driving positive change, establishing business plans and strategy and has a proven ability to build relationships at all levels within the organisation. Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, be detailed orientated with a positive and professional outlook
The Specifics

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Location: Dewsbury, Head Office

Accountable to: Chief Executive

Pay: £33,000 – £35,000 p.a. FTE

Employment Status: Permanent following initial 6 months probationary period
Benefits: 33 days annual leave entitlement and 8 bank holidays, plus Nest pension
Other: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Two satisfactory references

Evidence must be provided of a right to work in the United Kingdom.
