Job Vacancy Co-ordinator – Growing Project (Health Farm)

East Hull Community Farm (and surrounding eligible area)
To oversee the coordination of gardening activity at the East Hull Community Farm, contributing to the successful implementation and delivery of the “Health Farm” project, with specific emphasis on supporting and encouraging residents to become involved as an opportunity to improve their general health and wellbeing.

As an experienced gardener and grower of crops, you will be responsible for the planning of gardening activities over two seasons and develop a programme of related activity which will provide opportunities for people to benefit from exercise, fresh air, team work, whilst learning new skills. You will be expected to support and enthuse existing volunteers, and assist in the recruiting of additional local people in line with the aims of the “Health Farm” Project.

Job Terms
The post is for 20 hours per week between April and October 2018 and March and October 2019

Salary – £20,200 pa pro rata.
