Job Vacancy – Volunteen Support Worker (Children in Care)

Volunteen Support Worker – children in care
Salary: £4,742 (gross pay)
Status: 7.5 hours per week
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + public holidays pro rata
Area: Kingston upon Hull
Location: ERVAS Central Office and various locations in Hull
Length of Contract: 5th September 2016 – 4th September 2017 (fixed term)
Responsible to: ERCVYS Project Coordinator
Responsible for: No line management responsibilities
Job Role:
ERVAS has received funding from the Kusuma Trust to develop the Volunteen project aimed at encouraging and supporting children in care to volunteer within Hull.
Therefore we require a suitably qualified and experienced person to assist ERVAS in developing this new project, and engage with children in care to ensure they have the opportunity to volunteer and enjoy the benefits volunteering brings.
