HeadStart Hull is an exciting partnership initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
Over the course of the programme HeadStart Hull aims to “enable young people to have positive mental health and wellbeing, thrive in their community and to be able to bounce back from life’s challenges.”
Barnardo’s is a key delivery partner of the HeadStart Hull’s programme.
Barnardo’s are recruiting 2 x Project Worker1 posts (term time only) to deliver evidenced based group work programmes to young people across the North and West localities of Hull.
You will receive training to become an accredited facilitator in delivering Wrap group work programmes which promote resilience and positive emotional/mental health in young people.
You will receive additional informal training in CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) approaches to compliment the Wrap model by a qualified CBT therapist and receive ongoing support and supervision.
