Resilient Women Project Co-ordinator (Halifax)

Deadline 6th June

Fixed term contract until May 31st 2021

15 hours per week; SO2 £ 27 924 – 29,558 (pro rata)

The post is funded by The Big Lottery Fund “Help Through Crisis” grant over 5 years.

The Resilient Women Project Co-ordinator will ensure that a responsive and accessible service is offered to women supported by the Help Through Crisis (HTC) Partnership organisations of WomenCentre, Age UK, Citizens Advice Calderdale, The Gathering Place and St Augustine’s Centre.

In this role you will coordinate, support and report on all project activity in line with the Big Lottery Fund contract requirements and project outcomes and attend relevant strategic and operational meetings on behalf of the HTC Partnership. Involving women with lived experience is core to project development, delivery and evaluation.

You will have considerable experience of project/team management and be confident in developing the skill set of the project workers in all aspects of their roles, ensuring that they are supported by a team of trained volunteers/peer mentors.

WomenCentre is committed to safeguarding practice across all its service delivery and staff and volunteer recruitment.
