CASE, an organisation that supports local people with a learning disability to achieve their full potential is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sports Trainer. The Sports Trainer will be key in delivering quality sports sessions and also contributing to the training team in delivering training, therapeutic social care, and independent living activities to people with a learning disability.
To effectively research, develop, promote, implement, deliver, coordinate, monitor and evaluate a structured programme of quality sports, exercise, recreation and healthy lifestyle activities ensuring every CASE trainee has the opportunity to access and take part in such activities and work towards achieving their full potential
To develop and deliver training and activity sessions that develops a range of learning and practical skills ensuring all sessions are delivered through detailed written lesson planning, which lead to accredited qualifications and/or non accredited certification
You will have a recognised Sports Coaching Qualification, with previous experience within this sector.
