They are looking for individuals to strengthen their Fundraising and Marketing team in the areas of community fundraising and the coordination and writing of tenders and bids.
Community Fundraiser (full or part time)
circa £21,000 per annum (for 37 hours)
In this varied and exciting role you will be responsible for delivering Mind’s community fundraising plans, including planning events and activities, supporting fundraisers, working with volunteers and creating new ideas and strategies to help them reach their fundraising targets. Enthusiastic and confident, you will be able to encourage and motivate volunteers, as well as being reliable, highly organised, and have experience of community fundraising, ideally in a similar role, although this is not essential.
Funding Coordinator (full or part time)
circa £22,000 per annum (for 37 hours) The main focus of this post is to co-ordinate the submission of funding bids and tenders to secure funding for Mind’s work. You will also contribute to the content of bids or write a funding bid from scratch. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of planning and organising their work and be skilled at writing persuasively.
The hours for both posts are flexible and may be full or part-time by negotiation. Some travel will be required therefore applicants must have a full current driving license and access to their own transport for work purposes. Applicants must be empathic towards anyone who is experiencing mental health difficulties. The posts are subject to a DBS Disclosure.
