• motivational support (called ‘brief interventions’)
• screening and referral for treatment
• peer educators – people who have been through the experience can offer support to help to achieve and maintain recovery

Staff will listen to and explore your concerns, and after asking you some questions discuss the options available. This may be a referral to a specialist team or signposting to a self-help group, for example Abstain Tel: 01482 806500 or Alcoholics Anonymous Tel: 0845 769 7555.
If you are concerned about someone else’s drinking, the Alcohol Project staff will listen to your concerns, give you any information you need, and explore what support is available to you.
